Nursing Care
There is a qualified nurse in the home 24 hours a day, led by our Home Manager and Clinical Lead. You can feel reassured knowing that both clinical and day-to-day care needs are handled with professionalism, experience, and kindness.
Our nursing team works closely with GPs, specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure every resident receives the right level of care at every stage. Whether needs are straightforward or complex, we have the expertise and dedication to provide excellent care in a genuinely homely setting.

Dementia Care
Our top floor provides a safe, secure, and thoughtfully designed environment for residents living with more advanced dementia. With input from world-renowned dementia expert Professor June Andrews, the space is fully dementia-friendly.
Our team is specially trained in dementia care, and we have a dedicated dementia specialist among our senior staff. We focus on maintaining dignity, independence and quality of life — supporting not just residents, but their families too.

Respite Care
We offer respite stays at Broxburn Care Home, usually a minimum of two weeks, depending on availability. Whether it's to give a carer a well-earned break or to gently introduce someone to life at Broxburn, respite care can be a wonderful stepping stone.
During a respite stay, residents have full access to everything our home has to offer — the same warm welcome, the same activities, the same quality of care. Many families find it a reassuring way to experience Broxburn before making any longer-term decisions.
